Priya Patil is a Mumbai-based luxury menswear designer whose work is rooted in a quiet, thoughtful balance of structure, comfort, and modern identity. Her approach to design is shaped by a global perspective—formed through her education at Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom and The National Institute of Fashion Technology in Mumbai, and refined over more than two decades of experience across both Indian and international fashion. A defining part of her journey was her time as a stylist in the Indian film industry. Those years gave her an instinctive understanding of how clothing comes to life—not just through construction and fabric, but through feeling, movement, and the subtle power of the right details and accessories.

Over time, Priya felt a clear gap in menswear. It was often either too ornate or too understated, leaving little room for something more personal, more intuitive. In 2023, she launched her
label , ‘PRIYA PATIL’ with a simple intention—to create a space where men could truly express who they are, with ease, refinement, and honesty. At the heart of her work is a seamless blend of styling and design. Priya doesn’t think of garments in isolation, but as part of a complete story. Each look is thoughtfully brought together—from the cut of a jacket to the finishing details of lapel pins, brooches, pocket squares, and scarves—often extending all the way to footwear. It’s about offering the customer a complete, top-to-toe expression that feels natural, cohesive, and quietly luxurious.

Her design language reimagines formalwear as something lived-in and fluid—moving beyond occasion dressing into pieces that reflect a man’s lifestyle, character, and presence. There is an ease to her work, a softness within structure, that allows luxury to feel
effortless rather than imposed.

At the centre of everything Priya creates is her faith in Jesus. Priya leads a church in Mumbai and feels truly blessed how Jesus has touched and transformed lives, including her own. It is her foundation, and the source of her creative identity. She believes deeply that “While clothes may maketh the man, it is the inner man that truly maketh the clothes” True identity begins within—in understanding God’s love for you first, and in knowing who He has made you to be. From that place, what one wears becomes a quiet, honest reflection of that identity on the
outside.

Priya Patil is trusted by distinguished personalities across cinema, sport, and global leadership. She shares a longstanding association with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, having
designed his wardrobe for the iconic television show Kaun Banega Crorepati—the Indian adaptation of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Her creations have also been worn by prominent figures across international sport and leading names in the Indian film industry reinforcing her presence in red carpet,
occasion wear, and elevated everyday dressing.

In 2007, Priya Patil was awarded the title of India’s Creative Future by the British Council in a competition covered by the BBC, recognising the country’s foremost creative entrepreneurs. She was subsequently invited to 10 Downing Street, where she met Cherie Blair, who was notably drawn to her designs. The label is expressed through three distinct narratives:

Lofty Luxe — architectural silhouettes and elevated formal wear, defined by structure and quiet strength.

Relaxed Luxury — Unstructured, free from rigid fusing's, comfort-led formal wear crafted in feather-light cashmere, silk linens & cottons, redefining formal dressing through ease & fluidity.

The Spirit Edit — Expressive bomber jackets, colourful cardigans & contemporary separates that embody instinct, individuality, & personal identity.

In 2026, Priya marked a significant milestone with her Paris debut at the historic Shangri- La during Paris Fashion Week, presented by Fashion Week Studio. The showcase was warmly received by international buyers, media, and industry insiders. In a particularly special moment, a leading international department store approached the brand backstage immediately after the show, expressing strong interest in acquiring the collection—highlighting its global appeal and commercial potential.

For Priya Patil, menswear is never just about clothing. It is about presence, confidence, and identity. It is about creating for The Modern Heir—a man who is grounded in who he is, and expresses that with quiet confidence and effortless luxury.
